What’s New in Release 25.1

We are excited to announce the latest updates and enhancements to Real Capital Markets (RCM). In this 25.1 release, we’ve implemented key upgrades to improve your experience and streamline performance across the platform.

  • Asset Type Updates: Enhancing Classification Options
    • We’ve refined our asset type options to make it easier than ever to classify and market your deals.
    • Build To Rent: Added as a new sub-type under multifamily asset types, giving you more granularity to showcase this booming asset class.
    • Self-Storage as a Primary Asset Type: Self Storage has been elevated to a standalone primary asset type, making it more visible and easier to access without being grouped under Industrial.
    • These updates are designed to improve how you categorize your deals, making your listings more relevant and easier for potential buyers to find.

  • Broadcast Management Page Enhancements
    • Sent broadcasts are now sorted with the newest broadcasts on top and oldest at the bottom, making recent activity easier to locate.
    • For certain users, the Status column has been moved closer to the front for easier visibility.
    • The Broadcast Date and Status of overdue broadcasts are now highlighted, helping you identify them at a glance.
    • The time zone has been reintroduced to the Send Email window for more precise scheduling.
    • Users must now complete the From Alias field when creating or editing email templates, ensuring consistent and professional sender information.

  • New Feature: Logo Upload for Simple Landing Page Editor
    • We’ve streamlined your experience by enabling logo management directly from the Simple Landing Page Editor. Here’s what’s new:
      • Centralized Logo Management: Add, edit, or delete your logo directly from the Simple Landing Page Editor, simplifying your workflow and allowing you to build your entire SLP from one page.
      • Upload a logo to appear at the top of your landing page.
      • Easily crop the logo to the required size using an intuitive cropping tool.
      • Optionally include a hyperlink for your logo to drive users to your preferred destination.
      • This update makes it easier to personalize your landing pages and maintain consistent branding across projects, all while saving time.

  • Improved Sorting for My Projects Page
    • We’ve updated the sorting logic on the My Projects page to help brokers quickly find their most recent projects, even before their status is set to Available.
    • Projects are now sorted in descending order based on the date they were created, making newer projects appear at the top of the Launch Date column.
    • Brokers no longer need to scroll to find projects that haven’t yet been marked as Available, ensuring faster access to active deals.
    • This improvement is especially valuable for brokers managing multiple active projects, helping them stay organized and efficient.
    • This update ensures that your most recent projects are front and center, improving usability and saving time.

  • New Feature: Unsubscribe Link in Broadcast Email Headers
    • We’ve enhanced email functionality to improve deliverability and provide a better recipient experience. Here’s what’s new:
      • Broadcast emails now include an unsubscribe link embedded in the List-Unsubscribe header, ensuring compliance with best practices for email deliverability.
      • The existing mailto link is retained, giving recipients the flexibility to unsubscribe via email or through the embedded link.
      • By adhering to industry standards for List-Unsubscribe headers, emails are more likely to reach inboxes while reducing spam complaints.
      • This update enhances communication efficiency and ensures your messages get to the right audience.

  • Discontinuation of API v2 Support
    • To ensure all customers benefit from the latest features and optimizations, we are officially discontinuing support for API v2.
    • Any API calls made to project2.svc or buyer2.svc will now return an error.
    • By consolidating all API usage to the latest version, we can focus on enhancing and supporting a single API version, delivering better performance and functionality.
    • This update allows us to innovate more efficiently while ensuring a consistent experience across our platform.
